What the pilot does today

Six areas of AML work, each with a record behind it.

AML Squared keeps client due diligence, risk decisions, policies and training evidence in one place, with every approval versioned. It does not make you compliant automatically. It helps you show your reasoning.

  • 01

    Client records and CDD

Keep a customer due diligence checklist, owners and controllers, identity-document certification records, review records and discrepancy notes alongside each client. These record your checks; they do not independently verify a person’s identity.

  • 02

    Versioned client risk decisions

All 14 risk questions must be answered. Scores are calculated on the server, each assessment snapshots its rules and answers, and approval requires a signed-in senior reviewer. Possible sanctions matches block approval until resolved.

  • 03

    Firm-wide risk assessment

Enter your practice profile and write separate money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing narratives. Controls, risk areas and record checks produce gap explanations and named, dated action plans. Every save and sign-off is a new snapshot.

  • 04

    Policies and review history

Your practice writes its own policies. Edits append numbered drafts, senior approval appends an approved version, and each review records the exact version, reviewer, trigger, findings and next review date.

  • 05

    Learning and staff evidence

Original draft lessons and marked assessments, plus records of relevant-person scope, competence check dates and training coverage per person. Content still needs professional and IP review.

  • 06

    Evidence you can show

Export saved versions and review decisions as JSON, or print a readable evidence report from the browser. Not a PDF or ZIP pack yet.

How decisions are kept

Append, approve, review. Nothing is quietly rewritten.

  1. Draft

Edits create a new numbered draft. Revised assessments and policies need a change reason.

  2. Approve

A signed-in senior reviewer approves. Incomplete work, open gaps without a plan, or unresolved reviews block approval.

  3. Review

Reviews record the exact version, reviewer, server timestamp and next review date. A no-change review leaves the version alone.

  4. Export

Saved versions and review decisions export as JSON, or print as a readable report.

What this pilot is not.

We would rather you know the limits up front than discover them later.

  • Fictional-data pilot only. Do not enter real personal or client data, or identity documents.
  • Security controls such as UK data residency, enforced MFA and document encryption have not yet been verified.
  • Demo workspaces are isolated and expire after 24 hours.
  • Not legal advice and not a compliance certificate. Approving an assessment records a decision; it does not certify compliance.
  • Learning content is draft, needs professional and IP review, and is not accredited CPD or supervisor-endorsed.
  • Your practice-specific procedures remain your firm’s responsibility. Risk scoring is practice policy, not a statutory system.
  • No integrations are active. Companies House lookup is optional and manual entry works without it.

Opening the demo creates an isolated workspace with sample records. No sign-up needed; it expires after 24 hours.
